Do people celebrate grandparents day

I have never known for there to be a grandparents day outside of my school, I know my school celebrates a grand parents day but only on a random day that fits into their schedule, but we are a very prestigious school and around my area it seems to be very uncommon. I do live in Australia so it may be different in other countries.
