What flag is at the side of the US flag in white house?

It is the Presidential Flag of the United States of America. The motto reads 'E PLURIBUS UNUM' which is a Latin phrase meaning 'One of Many'. This flag was adopted by an Act of Congress in 1782 and the Inscroption was changed in 1956 to 'In God we Trust'. The American Eagle can be seen carrying an Olive Branch representing Peace, and some Arrows representing Defence. The Eagle is always facing toward Peace.
