Why do dozen of animal species become extinct daily in the rain forest?

The animals are dying because people are cutting down trees and when the trees they cut down are uprooted, that kind of tree may not grow again and the tree that dies may be a kind certain animals may need so when the tree gets cut down the animal dies.
