Can you give children to an orphanage on Sims 3?

You can do a few things, they are

Make them go hungry, you can do this by testingcheatsenabled true and drag the hunger meter down, one downside of this is that they might also die,

the safest and easiest method is to make them skip school consistently.

I don't think a teen can be taken away by the social worker, but I haven't tried it, so I don't know.
