Is a country blessed or cursed by its geographical locations?

geographical location is where the country is situated.

Blessed: for example,, Mauritius-- it has got the paradise title from tourists due to its sandy beaches.

Mauritius is a tropical island where there are 2 seasons.

This fact of having 2 seasons can be both a boon or a curse.

Boon as here the temperature is always moderate- its neither too hot or too cold.

Curse because we are not able to enjoy the the other 2 seasons namely authum and spring as other countries do enjoy.

However because of our geographical location, we are more prone to risks such as the tsunamis, cyclones....
