MacDonalds is successful in many countries around the world because: Number one, it has the financial resources to expand across the oceans and seas to other countries. Number two, MacDonalds obviously has vigorous and attractive advertising (marketing), which appeals to children and adults. Number three, the prices are affordable. Number four, the menus have a variety from which to choose, with nutritional choices for more than one palate. Number five, and importantly, Mac Donalds has established itself over the past forty-plus years as the epitome of "Americanism" - almost like one would think of "Apple pie" or the American "baseball game hotdog."
