your dog most likely has something called interdigital pyoderma. there are several reasons that this type of skin infection occurs. usually it is related to an allergic reaction or a bacterial infection. you should see your vet asap. in the mean time you can wash affected area with antibacterial soap and water 3 times a day, but be sure to RINSE WELL AND DRY. triple antibiotic ointment can be applied as well. remember that if your dog is suffering from allergic reactions washing will not do anything except further irritate the sores. Allergies are most often caused by the food your feeding him. be sure to see your vet who can properly determine the cause. and best treatment for your dog.
