It could possibly be Boxing. Manny Pacquiao is the most famous person in the Phillippines. He currently holds the WBC belt at 130lbs and is scheduled to fight David Diaz at 135lbs for the WBC title in June. He is so popular in the Philippines that when he fights the crime rate is 0% because everybody in the country is watching him fight. He has also been in a number of movies, commercials and recently released a CD.
