Where did dogs first appear?

Dogs were originally wolves, then Victorians got bored and started breeding them to use them as hunting dogs...etc. After this dogs became a fashion accesory and they bred them to look good. The dog had to look how the Kennel Club said in The Breeders Handbook. Try watching 'Pedigree Dogs Exposed'
