How do you remove the ash tray from a 2004-2007 F150?

To remove the ashtray from a 2004-2007 Ford F-150, first, pull the ashtray out to its fully extended position. Look for a small tab or release lever on the underside of the ashtray; press it while gently pulling the ashtray out. If it doesn't come out easily, you may need to wiggle it slightly while pulling. Once released, the ashtray should slide out completely.
