How do you repair a steel garage door window?

Replacing the glass Windows placed on steel garage doors is a pretty easy undertaking. Thin plastic lips hold the pain of glass in place. Use a putty knife to gently pry these plastic lips off and then gently remove the glass panel. Most hardware stores can cut a pane of glass or Plexiglas to the size you need. Once you have the new glass, insert it in the panel, sealing it with a thin bead of caulk around the edges. Then reattach the lips using liquid cement.
