Are Vicodin and meth the same?

Yes. All amphetamines and methamphetamines are stimulants, and Vicodin is in the opiate family, which means it is a depressant. Taking Vicodin with meth will mellow you out so you're not as jittery and hyper as you would be taking just meth. It will also reduce or eliminate the comedown symptoms that you get after a meth high.

This sounds like a lot of fun -- and in truth, it really is -- but it is also very dangerous. Taking uppers and downers at the same time is very hard on your heart, and puts you at risk of having a heart attack.

Also, when you do uppers and downers at the same time, you have a tendency to take higher doses than if you were taking each drug alone. If you take too much Vicodin, you'll fall asleep and you won't be able to take anymore. And if you take too much speed, you start freaking out, and you feel your heart pounding really hard in your chest, and if you have any common sense at all, you quit it with the meth, at least until you calm down a little. But if you take both of them, neither of these things happen, so you feel fine, and you think you can just keep taking more and more of each.
