2log4(x)=-17

log4(x)=-17/2

x=4^(-17/2)

it could easily be interpreted this way instead, (as well as

a few others):

x log(4x) + 16 + log(4x) + 4 = 3

(x + 1) log(4x) = -17

4x = 10-17/(x+1)

4x = the (x+1)th root of 10-17
