Ada Byron, also known as Ada Lovelace, was born on December 10, 1815, and died on November 27, 1852. She was 36 years old at the time of her death. Ada is often celebrated as one of the first computer programmers for her work on Charles Babbage's early mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine.
