How many sides on the world?

The concept of "sides" in relation to the world can be interpreted in different ways. Geographically, the Earth is a sphere with no distinct sides. However, in a more abstract sense, one might refer to the various continents, countries, or cultural divides, but these do not equate to physical sides. Therefore, the world doesn't have sides in a literal sense.
