Why would a horse eat the bark off of a tree?

no they are just like deer whan it comes to trees just don't let them eat it thoughit wont kill them but its unhealthy buy a cribbing strap for the horse(s) it looks like this and it not expensive but some have two straps and are fancier especially more expensive, i would buy the one shown
