What is the origin of the name Arianna?

Hi my daughter is called Arianna. I chose it as it is Welsh meaning silvery. It is also of Iranian origin, spelled Aryana (I think refering to Aryan race). Its popular all over the world for sure. Many countries laying claim to it.

i reseached it and it is greek but also Italian and means very holy one
