How large of a room do you need to put a standard ping pong table in?

A regulation ping pong (Table Tennis) table is 5' X 9'. A regulation tournament court recommends 20' X 40'. But for recreation play, 5' to 6' on each end and 3' to 5' on each side will do. Hope this helps. Need a table or equipment, check out bumpernets.com
