Is secondary school grades 6-12

By most state educator certification requirements, grades K-6 are elementary or primary, 6-8 are middle school, and 9-12 are secondary or high school. For teachers secondary certified, they may teach grades 7-12 in the area of their degree major and minor. They may not teach grades six and below without Primary certification.
