Should you call your ex after a few months of breaking up?

It depends on how friendly the breakup was, and why you want to call him/ her. If you're calling because you want to get back together, if he or she is with somebody else do you think you'd be OK to hear that?

Then again, my girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me once, and then 6 months later came over and said she wanted me back. It was difficult because I was sort of taken at the time. She took it really badly actually. After a couple of weeks though, I realised that I was always happier with her than anybody after her, and took her back.
