What does the elbow and knee joint look like?

The elbow joint is a hinge joint that allows for flexion and extension of the arm, connecting the humerus with the radius and ulna bones of the forearm. It features a prominent bony protrusion known as the olecranon at the back of the elbow. The knee joint, also a hinge joint, connects the femur to the tibia and fibula, allowing for bending and straightening of the leg.
