When trying to start my 1998 Chevy Silverado you turn the key there is a click then a cluck sound the batteries are good the click seems to be the relay the clunk seems to be the starter Any Ideas?

could be a number of things. did you try giving the starter a little rap with the handle of a screwdriver. sometimes that'll unstick a stuck starter...also could be a bad ground wire, corroded inside the sheathing. Also check relays
