Thomas Alva Edison did NOT invent the telegraph. Even before Edison was born, a man names Samuel Morse invented and perfected his telegraph. However, I'm sure he did try to perfect it, him being one of the most curious inventors ever. Remember, he did invent many things with the -graph suffix: phonograph etc. The phonograph he did perfect however with his tinfoil cylinder. He proved it by reciting the nursery rhyme "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and even made talking dolls with a mini phonograph stuffed inside of it. To visit his laboratory, you can go to West Orange, NJ his biggest laboratory invented.
