The impact of house fellowship on church growth is referred to as the church in the House. Its concept is taken from Acts 2:46-47. Here The Bible records that the early Christians met in private homes to share the Word of God, for communion and prayers. This resulted in a healthy and loving church and its attraction was contagious leading to the salvation of many souls. In fact if the church has actually grown to its mammoth proportion as a result of its attention and support to the House fellowship. Here brethren meet in smaller clusters, not only to study the Word but also to share brotherly love. Counselling is provided, welfare activities are pursued and intercessory prayers are regular. Other programmes at the House Fellowship include love feasts, visitation and evangelism. Information on the House Fellowship of the Church can be obtained from the ushers.
