Biography of Dr Elias Bumatay

Elias Bumatay, PhD, is known as one of the fathers of Philippine Psychology. Earning his PhD in Educational Psychologyat the University of Texas in 1940, Dr Bumatay went on to become Dean of the College of Education at the National University (NU) in Manila. NU was the first privatenonsectarian school in the Philippines.
