They will create more waste when there are more fillers in their food. For instance, If you see "Chicken By-Parts" that means they're grinding up claws, beaks, bonesm etc. While this does not hurt your dog, it's also not giving them any nutrition. Also, corn has almost no nutritional value. If one of the top three ingredients in your dog food is 'corn', you may want to consider changing it.
