Excedrin is a brand name of OTC (over the counter) pain reliever that contains ibuprofen and caffeine (used as an enhancer for the drug) because Ibuprofen can be hard on the liver it is recommended that you wait 6-8 hours between doses, where as Acetaminophen (Tylenol) can be taken every 3-4 hours, it can also be taken in between doses of Ibuprofen. Of course it is important to mention that even OTC drugs have the potential to be harmful if taken improperly and you may want to consult a Doctor.
