Which book in the World of Warcraft series should you start with?

I would start with the War of the Ancients Trilogy (obviously book one) as it is a well written work and gives a brief backdrop to some of the "why" and "what" in Warcraft lore (the creation of the Maelstrom, the First Great War, Illidan and Malfurion, and others)
