Do you need to do any work to the engine block when you turbocharge a 2002 Camaro 3.8 L V-6 or is it strong enough?

It can easily handle up to 10 psi without modifications. We have seen them take quite a bit more more than that but it then becomes a question of reliability, especially for a dailey driver. As boost levels go higher, forged internals are recommended, similar to the L62s.
