How can i convince my parents to buy me a parakeet. they say they are noisy and smelly. i told them they can be quiet and not smell but they keep saying no.plz help me?

Parakeets ARE noisy. They chatter pretty much all the time except when they're sleeping. That said, they are not especially loud as pet birds go. As for smelly, that's only if you don't clean the cage. Your parents probably don't think you will take care of the bird the way you should (and they're probably right). :)
