A German Lutheran Pastor named Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said: "The test of the morality of a society is what it does for its children."

You most probably heard the first lines of a song: "I believe...children are our Future. Teach them well and let them lead the way."

An abused child may grow with many possible character traits. He or she may grow to be someone afraid, a weakling or a bully, capable of hurting anyone who would not abide to his wishes.

The abused child may also grow to be a juvenile delinquent, incapable of judging right and wrong or he may be shrewdly straight that anyone who commits a mistake, be penalized with something akin or far more worse than what he had experienced as a child.

The child may also grow to be incapable of emotion resulting from the continued beating, he turned numb. Or he may grow up to be someone to learned to fake emotions to satisfy the abuser.

Imagine a World full of these people. That is how child abuse will affect the World.
