Im sixteen and want to file for emancipation i have a job to support my self and my boyfrend is willing to get a place with me my mom will sign for it but my dad wont can i still be emacipated?

When a minor files for emancipation, it is not necessary to have the parents' permission. However, this does not mean that the court will automatically approve the emancipation request.
