If you don't have a prescription, yes, if you have a prescription than no, because it's a medicine It is illegal. You are breaking the law to use it, therefore sinning. There is nowhere in The Bible that Marijuana is spoken of, but God did want us to keep our bodies healthy and pure. Even in Jesus' day tobacco of sorts was smoked and scents (giving a feeling of euphoria) were accepted. This does not mean that Marijuana is good for you! There is in the New Testament, a passage that tells the followers of Jesus Christ to be sober minded. As a man who has smoked several square miles of Columbian in my younger days I can say without a doubt that smoking pot does not keep one sober minded. When you smoke pot on a regular basis, your thinking becomes warped, not sober minded. There is also the passage about following the laws of man, therefore, by breaking the law you are commiting a sin unto God. Galatians 5:19-21 refers to practices that cannot be part of those who will inherit the kingdom of God. One of these includes "witchcraft." We 21st century Americans think in terms of turning people into toads, or perhaps certain pagan rites. The Greek Word translated "witchcraft" here, though, is "pharmacia", from which we get the Word "pharmacy." Witchcraft in those days would also include mind-altering drug usage, which would include most, if not all, non-medicinal marijuana usage today. Those who have a relationship with Christ, though, shouldn't need "weed"
