How do you change air filter in 2004 Monte Carlo can't seem to get cover far enough off to remove filter.?

You have to loosen the clamp on the hose that goes to the throttle body and pull it off to be able to get to the air filter.

you can loosen the clam and rotate the hose up to allow the filter cover top move further. u dont have to remove hose
