I suppose the problem with Yahoo-Mail is a totally different and
Yahoo is gaslighting the users.
After login the page loads and it displays correct the incoming mails.
Any action after that, e.g. deleting a mail, often results in stalling half way the page refresh.
My solution is to stop loading by the browser and reload the page, observe the progress-bar and if it stalls again for seconds, then repeat the trick - sometimes very often.
Interestingly, the before selected action is executed correctly.
To me it seems that after Yahoo was sold, they began to change the software and those problems arose and never were solved. Maybe they cut resources, because there are times of day when it works fine and others when it does not.
Of course they don't want you to know that, so they invent a thousand other bad excuses like:
delete cookies, clear cache or history ...
Since then I use google-mail for important mails and never had any problem.
As opposed to Yahoo, google-mail is so reliable that if any problem arises with another site, I check if google works.
If google doesn't work then there is really a network problem.
