How bright is lava?

Lava can be extremely bright, emitting light at temperatures ranging from about 700 to 1,200 degrees Celsius (1,292 to 2,192 degrees Fahrenheit). Its brightness can be comparable to that of a hot metal, glowing with an intense orange or red color, and it can even appear white or yellow at higher temperatures.
