Tristan da Cunha is the largest island in a remote archipelago located in the South Atlantic Ocean. It covers an area of approximately 98 square kilometers (38 square miles) and is known for its rugged terrain, volcanic landscape, and small population. It is often referred to as the most remote inhabited archipelago in the world. The main settlement, Edinburgh of the Seven Seas, is home to around 250 residents.
