How do you reset the service indicator for a VW Passat B5?

Ignition off, Hold the right trip button on the instrument display, Turn ignition on. Should display "service maintenant" (not blinking) now, While still holding the trip button turn the left hand button (clock adjustment) to the minutes side(right). Release everything and turn ignition off. Turn on ignition and voila.
