Will an interfering with traffic ticket raise your insurance im in Ontario Canada?

Hi, I got a Careless Driving Ticket in October 9, 2012. My insurance rates went very high, however, I was notified this ticket has been corrected to Interference with Traffic with no Demerit points. My insurance company won't lower my rates. Is there any recourse I can do? I am not guilty of Careless Driving, so why must I pay for it?
