How do you say darling in Swahili?

There is no direct translation for the Word. Used instead are Words like 'beloved' and 'lover' depending on the context or even 'beautiful'.

Mrembo=someone who is beautiful.

Mpenzi= lover /partner in a relationship.

Mpendwa= literally he/she being loved. Denotes someone special, used in association with Christ As 'mwana mpendwa' or ' the beloved son'.
