I read that it limits the consuption of foods rich in calcium, iron, and vitamins A, D, and E. Consuming fiber even from whole grains is limited. It deprives the body of its best sources of glucose (our energy!). The recommended ratio of nutrients looks hard to follow and it supplies high amounts of protaini which can harm the kidneys. I feel that this diet has some good ideas but i don't even do diets. I just try to eat healthy. If you were to try it, i would hope you would first consider the above thoughts and the fact that this diet has very little satisfactory scientific evidence to its name. If you don't choose this diet, you can still use some of its helpful ideas such as drinking lots of water, eating lots of vegetables and raw fruits, not eating a couple large meals but having four or five small meals, and eating lean meats.
