Why people invented the transportation?

Transportation is simply a Word that refers to any method of getting from point A to point B. People have always been eager to find faster, more efficient methods of doing so.

For example, using a high speed train instead of a bus; or flying from New York to Paris, instead of sailing a ship; or using a semi truck or a train to haul larger amounts of cargo than you could haul in a pickup truck.
