What is the value of a 1935 us nickel?

1935 is not a rare date for Buffalo nickels. Look for a small D or S under the Words FIVE CENTS on the back.

If there's no letter, or an S, in circulated condition it's worth about 75¢ to $1. A nice uncirculated one is worth about $35. If there's a D, it's worth $1 or more; uncirculated ones sell for $70 or more.
