No. It's a combination of the knowledge of (objective) hard facts and events and the (subjective) interpretation of them. The interpretation part can be subjective when historians have to make educated guesses, for instance for the motives behind events or actions or whether one event was the consequence of another event. But even interpretation can be objective when research discloses for instance written evidence of motives, consequences or of the events themselves.
