Why does the power of the relationship lie with the one that cares less?

Because you are more giving and willing to give so that you won't get hurt, your looking for the future the other person is in it for selfish reasons, not future but maybe day to day, the whats in it for me type. Each time you look away from truth and work at trying to better your relationship for the other person when you know deep down inside he or she wants out then you empower that individual and he or she feeds on it as it were. You need to be the stronger one to let go and find the one person who will not be the careless, care free, selfish one. Love will find you quit trying so hard.
