How can you enable your iPod it says that try again in 21000000 minutes?

The exact same thing happened to me after I dropped it in my tea :( except its more like 21,395,982 minutes. I worked out that that's nearly 2 years :( . Somebody said connect it to iTunes, so I'm going to try that and see if it works. Sorry not much help. Hope yours recovers :) .
