Where are the spark plugs on a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am?

on top of the engine there is a plate with 4 bolts in it and there is a large plug with wires connected to it on the right side of it take the 4 bolts out and take the plug loose and the plate will lift off . the plugs are down inside the holes . you will need a spark plug socket and atleast a 12 inch extentsion to get them out .
