Where does the sun go when we don't see it?

When we don't see the sun, it's typically because it's below the horizon, either due to the rotation of the Earth or the position of the observer. As the Earth rotates on its axis, different parts of the planet experience daylight and darkness. During nighttime, the sun is still present in the sky but is positioned where it's not visible from our location. Thus, it continuously moves in its orbit, even when we can't see it.
