The political effects of world war 2 is that it causes corruption to the government and therefore corrupts the nation. What is a nation? is it the land or the people?

A nation is a human cultural and social community. In as much as most members never meet each other, yet feel a common bond, it may be considered an imagined community. One of the most influential doctrines in Western Europe and the Western Hemisphere since the late eighteenth century is that all humans are divided into groups called nations. Before World War 2, Japan did not seem harmful but when the other countries were busy attacking each other, Japan strategized this and decided to attack Singapore first, because it was a small country and since America was already at war with Another Country, Japan knew they wouldn't be able to aid Singapore, and therefore they killed many singaporeans, but then America bombed them and they were very scared so they decided to surrender. In war, you don't win but lose because all you do is murder people. In a civilized place, it is a crime for murdering people... but in 'WAR' you are a hero for how many people you kill.
