Are spider crabs dangerous to man?

Not really. They can pinch you, yes, and if they're big in size

• they can cause some pain, but no severe wounds or death. There

are some very, very large species, but you'd rarely meet one on your everyday beach, and they're usually living more than 10 feet underwater.
